Holly Hickling of Pitt's Honors College and Mathew Tembo of the Music Department take you out for a virtual lunch date from Lusaka, Zambia.  You will learn about the staple food nshima, a cornmeal dish, as well as other culinary delights such as edible leaves and caterpillars.

Holly is a member of the African Heritage Room Committee and a past panelist on the African Heritage Room Study Abroad Scholarship. 

Matthew is a 2018 African Heritage Room Scholarship winner in honor of Dr. Ralph Proctor.  Matthew's research focused on how technology has equalized music in Africa for women musicians.
