Committee History
In 1998, the Filipino American Association of Pittsburgh approved the Philippine Nationality Room project to transform room 313 of the Cathedral of Learning and make the Filipino community part of the unique and outstanding Nationality Rooms Program at the University of Pittsburgh. In Sept of 2000, the University of Pittsburgh approved the application and business plan by ad hoc committee under Warren Bulseco which was the official start of the project. A project committee was formed and after many milestones (fundraising, design, construction) the project was completed December 2018.
The Philippine Nationality Room was formally dedicated on June 9, 2019.
