This Sunday blouse, circa 1910, has been identified by the donor as Grandma Skapik's Sunday blouse. Very fine and sheer chiffon with applied lacework across the breast, and embroidered buttons on the chest and cuffs. The lace collar has a back flap.

Xylophone with 10 keys for striking with rubber tipped mallets. Bound with leather cord, the gyil has sound resonating gourds hanging below the slats. The largest gourds are affixed with a tarry substance underneath, while the smaller ones hang together on a string. Three of the gourds on the string underneath have come undone from their tarry adhesion. Comes with two rubber tipped mallets. Possibly from West Africa.

This jar of soil is from County Armagh, Northern Ireland (UK), from the Navan Fort in the "Historic Emhain Macha." Soil mixed from County Armagh and County Meath, Republic of Ireland, was placed behind the Irish Room's cornerstone upon completion of the room in 1957.

This jar of soil, in a lidded steel can, is from the Hill of Tara, in County Meath in the Republic of Ireland. Upon completion of the Irish Nationality Room in 1957, soil mixed from County Meath and County Armagh, Northern Ireland (UK) was placed behind the cornerstone of the room.

Their attachment to the lacquered wooden base is faulty, as they are now listing markedly to the side. Yawaituri is written on a piece of tape adhered to the underside of the base.
