John G. Bowman Faculty Grants

The Bowman Faculty Grants for Research are grants awarded to University of Pittsburgh faculty members to enhance the quality of their teaching or to develop new courses through research abroad. Five grants of $2,000 are available to full-time faculty members who have been teaching a minimum of one year at the University of Pittsburgh. Three grants of $2,000 will be awarded to part-time faculty members who have been teaching a minimum of three years at the University of Pittsburgh. They are funded by an endowment in memory of Chancellor John Gabbert Bowman. To learn more about the grants, click here.

The application deadline for the Fellowships are March 30. The deadline for the Bowman Faculty Grants is February 28.
